| With the continual evolution of nuclear safety situations, timely radiation monitoring and risk assessment have become increasingly critical during nuclear accident scenarios. Rapid assessment of gamma radioactivity contents in food in an emergency of a nuclear event is crucial for ensuring food safety. Balancing the need to reduce detection costs while ensuring reliable measurement result has become a major concern. Through a review of relevant domestic and international literature and with reference to the current standards, this paper introduces the current research status of screening gamma radioactivity in food and the detection method used for this purpose. It aims to provide a reference for further research on rapid screening and detection technologies for gamma radioactivity levels in food. |
