Abstract::
      For the past few decades, using contact shielding protective equipment for radiation-sensitive organs and tissues of patients during radiodiagnostic tests has been a routine practice in radiology departments. However, this practice has aroused global controversy in recent years, and the proper use of protective equipment for patients has become a hot topic in the international radiation protection field. This study reviews the international requirements and research dynamics of shielding protection for patients receiving radiodiagnostic tests, and presents a comparison with the domestic situation. The purpose is to provide a scientific reference and practical guidance for improving the shielding protection requirements for patients receiving radiodiagnostic tests in China.
