Abstract:: |
Thymic epithelial tumors serve as rare mediastinal tumors, for which radiotherapy is a significant treatment modality. Currently, the specific applications of radiotherapy to different stages of thymic epithelial tumors remain controversial. This review summarizes the applications of postoperative/radical radiotherapy in treating different stages of thymic epithelial tumors, the relationship between pathological classification and prognosis, and the current advances in research on immunotherapy in the treatment of thymic epithelial tumors. The purpose is to provide a reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment and future research of thymic epithelial tumors. |
