Abstract:: |
Colorectal cancer is one of the most commonly malignant tumors worldwide, and distant metastasis is the main cause of death in patients with colorectal cancer. Oligometastases is an intermediate state with better prognosis which is different from generalized metastasis in the process of tumor metastasis. With the development of radiotherapy, stereotactic body radiotherapy plays an increasingly important role in the local treatment of oligometastases. The review summarizes the outcomes from various clinical studies where stereotactic body radiotherapy was used for liver and lung oligometastatic colorectal cancer. |
