Abstract::
      With the rapid development of the aviation industry, flight personnel face health risks due to long-term exposure to cosmic radiation at high altitude, which has become a focus of attention in public health in recent years. This paper aims to systematically review the latest research progress on cosmic radiation at aviation altitudes, focusing on three aspects. The first is to explore in depth the impact of cosmic radiation on flight personnel health, encompassing epidemiological findings on malignant tumors and cardiovascular diseases, as well as an analysis of underlying biological mechanisms such as oxidative stress and DNA damage. The second is to overview current technological measures used for radiation monitoring and dose assessment (including personal dosimeters and simulation software like CARI-7A), and to consider the challenges ahead towards practical applications while looking ahead emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things for improving monitoring accuracy and efficiency. The third is to comparatively analyze the international and national radiation protection regulations and measures, with emphasis on both the management strategies centered on optimizing shift schedule and the technological innovations in shielding materials, biological protection, and pharmaceutical interventions. It is suggested to strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration and international cooperation to advance the development of individualized risk assessment systems with elevated accuracy and precision and dynamic intelligent protection mechanisms, thereby further improving occupational health and protection for flight personnel.
