Abstract::
      Objective To apply the obtained results from 3 stages of research in Chinese radiation protection field.Methods Based on the identification of physical, chemical and biological qualities for element and its radionuclides under equilibrium condition, main application of these results in Chinese radiation protection field have been discussed by using reported methods in literature. Results Based on developing elemental reference values of organs or tissues, whole body burdens and their distribution for Chinese Reference Man, discussed in the above 3 articles, current dietary elemental intakes of 42 elements have been updated,and related basis for certain important parameters of bio-kinetic model for use in radiation protection (for example, f1Te and Tb) have been provided. The internal doses from primordial radionuclides and transfer coefficients of elements from environment into the critical organts of Chinese adult men have been estimated. Conclusions The series of research have provided basis for developing the reference values of parameters on dietary intakes of 42 elements, burdens of 60 elements in the 18 organs or tissues as well as whole body, daily urinary excretion of 56 elements and some important parameters of bio-kinetic models for Chinese Reference Man. The internal dose from primordial radionuclides for Chinese adult men, the transfer coefficients of these elements from environment into the critical organts in China and the inter relation between elemental contents in whole blood and urine samples from identical subjects have been estimated.
