Abstract:: |
Objective To carry out TLD comparisons for radiotherapy dosimetry in non-reference conditions in some advanced hospitals in Beijing. Methods The TLD measuring system was calibrated in Co-60 γ-ray beam. The readings were corrected by energy response and TLD holder attenuation correction factors. Results For high energy photon beams, the mean ratio of EAG's dose to user's dose (DEAG/DUSER) is 1.001; For high energy electron beams, the mean ratio of DEAG/ DUSER is 1.000. Conclusions According to IAEA requirement, TLD dose comparison error for hospital, the expanded uncertainty (k=2) shall not be more than 5%. The results indicate that the qualified rates are 98% for high energy photon beams and 100% for high energy electron beams in the participating hospitals. |
