Abstract:: |
Objective To investigate tritium concentrations in surface and underground waters in China in the period of 1991 to 1993. Methods All together 387 surface water samples were collected from 64 rivers and 24 lakes or reservoirs all over China,among them306 were sampled in the above period.For springs and wells 44 and 122 water samples were obtained,respectively, among them34 and 96 were collected in the above period.All these samples were processed and analyzed with the method recommended in Chinese National Standards GB12375-90. The data of tritium concentrations were processed with MS Office. Results The results showed that the average tritium concentrations of river,lake,spring and well water were 4.67,4.55,2.38 and 4.04 Bq/L,respectively. Conclusion Features of regional distribution of tritium concentrations in surface and underground waters, higher in the north and west and lower in the south and east of China, were observed. |
