| Abstract:: |
| Objective To investigate the application of enamel EPR deconvolution program in dose reconstruction in the low dose region. Methods A series of deconvolution procedure were composed to simulate the EPR spectra of the enamel samples irradiated by different low doses, and the corresponding radiation-induced signal (RIS) intensities were obtained. The dose-response curve was depicted by linear regression of RIS intensities versus the nominal doses. The accuracy of the spectra processing procedure was also discussed. Results The dose-response curve: IRIS=14.04+0.768D (mGy), the correlation coefficient was 0.997, and SD=19.8 mGy. Conclusion The technology can decrease the lower limit of the reconstructed enamel EPR dose to around 200 mGy. |
