| Objective To observe the effect of DL-buthionine sulfoximine (DL-BSO) on GSH content in rat C6 glioma cells. Method Tietze method was used to detect the effect of DL-BSO on GSH content. Results The GSH content in rat C6 glioma cells reduced effectively after DL-BSO treatment, the reduction speed showed down with time,and the lowest value of the GSH content was 6.08% of that of the control. Conclusion DL-BSO can deplete intracellular GSH content in rat C6 glioma cells. |
