Abstract::
      Objective To develop a computer method of dose reconstruction for external irradiation accident. Methods Based on MIRD mathematic model of the organs and by means of the Monte Carlo method,a computer program of dose reconstruction in external irradiation accident was developed for various irradiation patterns. Results The computer method of dose reconstruction for external irradiation accident was completed,and dose estimation for the acute patients of a 60Co accident in Henan Provinces was carried out by this method.The Results showed that the estimated doses of the organs and the whole body were very close to the valuces from an experiment simulation using an anthropomorphic phantom,and the dose of the whole body was very consistent with that of biological dosimetry. Conclusion This computer method is very convenient for dose reconstruction in radiation accident.It is not only for the estimation of organ dose,but also for early dose estimation in radiation accident.
