Abstract::
      Objective To investigate the changes of the expression of collagen and free radicals after electron irradiation. Methods An animal model of electron irradiation injury was established using linear accelerator electron radiation.The expression of collagen and the contents of MDA,NOS,SOD,GSH-PX were determind. Results After electron irradiation,the contents of MDA and NOS increased in a certain dosage range,while the contents of SOD,GSH-PX decreased in another dosage range.The expression of collagen was changed.No relationships was showed between the change of collagen and free radicals. Conclusion After electron irradiation,free radicals can be produced in the whole body,but they have little effect on the changes of the collagen expression in irradiated cutaneous tissues.Collagen may play an important role in electron radiation injury.
