Abstract:: |
Objective To research the thimble ionization chamber for measurement of absorbed dose in photon or electron radiation field used in radiotherapy. Methods Using graphite as chamber wall and pure aluminum as central receiver electrode. Result According to the IEC standard 60731 checking methods, all properties of RT-101 are up to the requirements of the standard. Conclusion The 0.6 cm3 RT-101 thimble ionization chamber can be used as field class detector for measurement of absorbed dose in photon or electron radiation field used in radiotherapy. |
