Abstract:: |
Objective In this paper a comparative study of mutagenic effect on reproductive cells in each growth stage induced by α radiator 235 U,β radiator 147 Pm,and γ radiator 134 Cs was reported. Methods The equations fitted to describe the retentive fractions of different radiators in testis were observed.Chromosome aberrations were used to identify the expression of mutagenic effect in spermatogonia and primary spermatocytes.Sperm abnormality was also used to show the mutagenesis of sperm,so as to compare the rates of mutagenic effect induced by 1 cGy cumulative absorption dose of different radiators. Results The retentive half-life components of different radiatiors in testis were calculated to be T12 =197 d for 235 U,T12 =76 d for 147 Pm and only 5.1 d for 134 Cs.By comparison between different radiators,the mutagenic effect in spermatogonia induced by 1 cGy cumulative absorption dose was significantly different:the comparative value of mutagenesis of spermatogonia was α:β:γ=29:4:1;of primary spermatocytes was 22:4:1; and of sperm was α:β:γ=28:3:1. Conclusion Different radiators 235 U, 147 Pm and 134 Cs all could exert mutagenic effect on rèproductive cells in each growth stage,but the induction effect of α radiator 235U is the biggest,β radiator 147 Pm comes next and finally the γ radiator 134 Cs. |
