Objective To research the national indoor radon actio n level by studying level and distribution of radon in different type of dwellin gs. Methods Integral detection technology was used to measure indoor radon concentration. Results Arithmetic mean of indoor radon concentration was 44. 1 Bq·m-3 (n=2117 )in 18 cities.The percentages of rooms,in which radon concentration was above 10 0 Bq·m-3 ,200 Bq·m-3 and 400 Bq·m-3 ,were 6. 5%,1 .0% and 0. 1%,respectively.In coal ash brick buildings,cave dwellings and underground bui ldings,the percentages of room radon concentrations above 200 Bq·m-3 ,400 Bq·m-3 were 14 .1%,16. 7%,27 .3% and 2 .3%,3 .0%,4 .0%,respectively.T h e equilibrium factor was 0 .49 averagely from 20 pro-vinces and cities. Conclusion For the unit of indoor radon action level,radon concentration sho uld be used instead of EEC(equilibrium equivalence radon concentration),and the distinction between the existing dwellings and newly built dwellings is to be ab olished.Before a nationwide survey of radon level,the control value for indoor r adon action level of 400 Bq·m-3 for existing houses of our country given by GB/T 16146-1995 can be used continuously. |
