Objective To the study rules and features of response of different types of wall materials of DIS detector chamber to γ-radiation energy. Methods Designing the chamber with different types of wall materials their response to γ-radiation energy can be achieved through Monte Carlo method. Results The chamber sensitivity increased greatly between the range of 30 to 100 keV when aluminum(or magnesium) was used as chamber wall material.The chamber sensitivity did not change much in the entite energy range when curbon(or A-150) plasties were used. Conclusion When tissue equivalent material(A-150) is used as wall material,response of DIS detector to γ-radiation energy will get better.This type of chamber will meet the need of linear measurement on personal absorbed dose. ; |
