Objective To compare the results of distribution of dose rate calculated by numerical integration and the Monte Carlo methods. Methods The distribution of dose fate of the stent was estimated with three typical dose-point-kernel functions. Results The radial dose distribution(CDD) on center surface,axial DDON the surface and 0.5 mm apart from the surface of the stent were calculated.For the radial distribution,the variation was less than 1.5%,and so the axial one. Conclusion The results of dose distribution calculated with two methods very close, so the Monte Carlo method can be applied for calculation the dose distribution of radioactive stent. ; |
