Abstract:: |
Objective To study the effects of γ-radiation on dendritic cells(DCs). Methods Monocyte derived DCs were irradiated with γ-ray.Flow cytometric analysis,cell counting,and mixed lymphocyte reaction were used to study the effects of γ-radiation on biological functions of DCs. Results γ-radiation could inhibit the proliferation of DCs in vitro, down regulate the expression of GM CSFR,Flt 3 and gp130,while up regulate CD80,CD86 and HLA DR.Moreover γ-radiation enhanced DCs' potention to activate the proliferation of T cells and reduced DCs' ability for Ag capture. Conclusion γ-radiation may effect the maturation and functions of DCs. |
