Objective To explore radioresistance -improving and radio-protective effects of hematopoietic growth factor genes transfected into HFCL stromal cells.Methods Radioresistance of gene-transfected cells to radiation was detected by dose survival curve and 3H-TdR incorporation rate,Colony forming assay on cultured stroma layer was examined.Results The gene-modified cells (HFCL/EFG and HFCL/FG) showed more resistant to ionizing radiation than control HFCL cells by dose survival curve, 3H-TdR incorporation rate.The transfected genes had effects of protecting hematopoiesis and radioprotection by colony forming assay.ConclusionStromal cells transduced with hematopoietic growth factor genes can improve radioprotective effects. |
