Abstract:: |
Objective The study was to find some valuable criteria for diagnosis and treatment of radiation injury of skin. Methods The expression of EGFR,Bax,Rb proteins was studied by SPimmunohistochemistry in 40 mice using a skin radiation injury model.Their relationship to radiation dose was also investigated.Results (1) The expression rates of EGFRwere 20%,40%,70%,and 100% in 5,15,30,and 45 Gy groups respectively.The expression of EGFR increased along with the increase of radiation dose,and there were significanty differences between groups ( P <0.05).(2) The expression rates of Bax were 30%,30%,70%,and 70% in 5,15,30,and 45 Gy groups,respectively,but there were no significant differences between these groups.(3) The expression rates of Rb were 30%,20%,40%,and 30% in 5,15,30,and 45 Gy groups,respectively,and there was no linear trend ( P >0.05).(4) There was no co-expression tendency in 9 cases of Bax+/Rb+ and 5 cases of EGFR +/Rb+/Bax+ among the 40 mice. Conclusion The experiment shows that radiation can increase the expression of EGFR,Bax,Rb proteins which might be related to poor healing of skin radiation injury. |
