Objective To study the effect of whole body irradiation (WBI) with different doses of X-rays on apoptosis in cells of mouse Peyers patches and its molecular mechanism. Methods RT-PCRwas used to detect the changes of Bcl-2 transcription level.Agarose electrophoresis and flow cytometry were used to detect the changes of DNAand apoptotic bodies in Peyers patches after WBIwith different doses of X-rays. Results The apoptotic was increased and Bcl-2 transcription level was decreased in Peyers patches after 2 Gy X-rays.The apoptotic rate was decreased and Bcl-2 transcription level was increased in Peyers patches after 75 mGy X-rays. Conclusion Bcl-2 participates in the regulation of radiation-induced apoptosis in Peyer's patches. |
