| Abstract:: |
| Objective To measure the deposition rate of natural radioactive particles from atmosphere by passive method, so as to offer a feasible method for the measurement of fAvalue(free RaAfraction), thus resulting in the advancement of the precision in the evaluation of the lung dose.Methods The deposition rate, radon concentrations and f Avalue were measured by CNbare method, electrostatic integrating radon monitor and mesh, respectively. Results The annual mean deposition rates were 3.9 to 26.5(10-4/cm2·s)and the deposition velocities were found to be 0.4 to 1.1(cm/s)for outdoors and indoors in Fuzhou city.Conclusion The CNbare method is good for the measurement of the deposition rate of natural radioactive particles from atmosphere, thereby possibly advancing the precision of the evaluation of the lung dose.The results of this study agree fairly well with the values reported by other researchers. |
