Abstract:: |
Objective To investigate the radioprotective effects of cytokines on hematopoietic impairment of irradiated mice. Methods Using RSP-CMand LP3-CMrespectively originated GM-CSFand G-CSFto treat ICRmice irradiated with different doses of 60Co γ-rays.The 30-day survival rate of mice, the mean survival days of dead mice were determined and the numbers of peripheral white blood cells and BMCof part of the mice were counted.At the same time, GMclonogenic activity of BMwas assayed. Results RSP-CMcould effectively raise 30-day survival rate of mice irradiated with 7.5 Gy.However, LP3-CMhad no obvious effect.Judging from the comparative survival ratio, only the RSP-CMtreated group showed protective effect on the 8.0 Gy -irradiated mice.The 8.5 Gy-irradiated mice all died within30 days, indicating that GM-CSFhad weak effect on higher dose-irradiated mice. Conclusion GM-CSFcan stimulate the hematopoietic system of irradiated mice, and has dose-effect and time-effect relations.M-CSFused singly has no obvious effect. |
