Abstract:: |
Objective To summarize systematically the radiation exposure dose from varied sources to the population living in normal condition in China, providing significant background material for assessment of dose effect relationship.Method Analysis and study were carried out based on extensive investigation materials and monitoring data.Results The average annual effective dose from all kinds of ionizing radiation sources to Chinese population is 2.5 mSv/a.The contribution of dose from natural radiation is 92% of the total dose.Conclusion The natural radiation is the main contribution of the exposure dose from all kinds of ionizing radiation up to now.This study gives the portions of varied sources of ionizing radiation in China. |
