Abstract:: |
Objective To investigate whether or not adaptive response of G1 arrest could be induced by low dose radiation.Methods Flow cytometry (FCM) was used to analyze cell cycle stained with propidium iodide (PI).Results It was found that 12h after 1.5 Gy whole body Xirradiation, G1 arrest of thymocytes took place in Kunming mice.However, G1 arrest was diminished when a 0.075 Gy conditioning dose was given 6h before 1.5 Gy challenge dose.The same result was also revealed in EL 4 lymphoma cell line.Conclusion Adaptive response of G1 arrest could be induced by low dose X-rays. |
