Abstract:: |
bjective Immune competence and immune response to virus of inhabitants after long term exposure to low level radiation were explored. Methods Using the monoclonal antibody APAAP method interleukin-2 secreting cells (IL-2SC) were examined.The levels of anti EBV antibodies titers (including VCA/IgA,VCA/IgG,EA/IgA and EA/IgG) were inspected by the indiect immunoenzymatic assay.Using ELISA method,the evaluation indexes of infection rate of hepatitis B virus (such as HBsAg,HBsAb and HBcAb) were observed.Results The frequency (%) of PBL-IL-2SC was signiticantly increased in subjects from HBRA compared to those in the control area (CA).The levels of anti EBV antibodies,including VCA/IgA,VCA/IgG and EA/IgG,were higher in HBRA than in CA,but there was significant difference only in the geometric mean of titer of VCA/IgG between HBRA and CA;for the rate of positive titer detection of VCA/IgA(≥1.5) in these two areas,they were significantly higher than those in Guangdong Province.Both the infection rate of HBV and the positive rate of HBsAb were higher in HBRA than in CA; however,no significant difference existed between them.Coclusion It is suggested that there is a tendency that the immune function is increased after exposure to low level radiation for a long time. |
