Abstract:: |
We performed an experiment to study the effect of irradiation, hyperthermia and chemotherapy,alone or in different combinations,on weight,tumor volume,skin response and histological change of mice in order to find the best methed for treating Lewis tumor.We used 9 Mev electron beam irradiation in single doses of 6.8 and 10Gy, hyperthermia treatment at 43℃ for 30 minutes and intraperitoneal in jection of platinum diaminodichloride at 3.5mg/kg.The results showed that the effect of treatment ranked in the following order:irradiation combined with hyperthermia and chemotherapy>irradiation plus hyperthermia>chemotherapy or hyperthermia alone.The tumor regression rates were 91.6%,80.4%,29.9% and 33.7%,respectively (P<0.01). |
