Abstract:: |
The average absorbed dose to cell nuclei due to 3H-TdR incorporation in human lymphocytes was calculated by using different dose formulae on the basis of data obtained from incorporating experiments in vitro.The results showed that there was no significant difference between the nuclear doses estimated by the formulae of Robertson,Rossi and Goodheart.The results came from Apeigot's formula were higher than those from the above-mentioned formulae.A formula improved upon the Apelgot's was proposed.The "mass mean method" also brought about higher results,but by the aid of edge effect coefficient the method was able to give correct results for nuclei with 3μm radius.Ifthe radius of nuclei is larger or smaller than 3μm,abnormal results of mass mean method would emerge.The 0.27 cGy/dis.was just effective for nuclei with 4μm radius. |
