Abstract:: |
We studied the effects of low-dose radiation on tumor-bearing mice and on radiotherapy from hormesis induced by low-dose radiation.The results show that D1 can reduce the tumor rate in mice implanted with tumor cells(P<0.05), and inhibit the tumor growth speed(P<0.05);the effects of radiotherapy on tumor-bearing mice can be enhanced by low-dose radiation.It is further demonstrated that these results are concerned with enhancement of lymphocyte spontaneous proliferation, activity of anti-oxidase, ability of DNA to restore and reduce free radical injury.The above results provide an experimental basis for increasing the efficacy of clinical tumor therapy and alleviating side-effects of radiotherapy. |
