| Rats were divided into three groups and subjected to total body irradiation of 6 Gy γ-rays from a 60Co source, 30% total body surface area full tfickness burns,or both of them,respectively. The changes of β-adrenoceptor. concentration in myocardial membrane were observed on 1, 3.8, 16 and 24h after injury.It was found that Bmax was significantly decreased in all the three groups during 24h after injury. The value of KD increased only at 1h and 3h after radiation injury. The decrease of β-adrenoceptor concentration in rats may be one of the major reasons for cardiac dysfunction after radiation, burn and combined injuries, The reasons of decreasing β-adrenoceptor concentration are discussed. |
