Abstract:: |
The relationships between chromosome aberration of human lymphocytes and the dose of mixed neutron-gamma (n-γ)irradiation with neutron percentages of 87,44,13 and 0 were studied.Mathematical models of dose-effect curve for dicentric + ring and total aberrations were constructed, and two general formulae describing radiation dose-aberration relationship suitable for all mixed n-γexposures in different n-γ proportions were deduced on the basis of the parameters of corresponding close relation observed in this experiment. They can be used to evaluate the approximate personal average absorbed dose from mixed fission neutron and γexposure in nuclear accidents and have been preliminarily tested to be acceptably satisfactory. |
