The morphometric changes in transformed cells and nuclei of human embryo lung cells or Wistar rat lung fibroblasts in vitro post irradiation with 60Co gamma rays or 238Pu alpha particles was observed by image analysis system and their dose-responsa relation were studied.The results showed that the biological characteristics and changes of morphometric parameters in transformed cells induced by two types of radiation were basically similar.The parametets of area,equivalent diameter in cells or nuclei and ratio of nucleus to plasma increased with increasing radiation dose.It was expressed by model of linear square:E=a+bD+cD2.These parameters were not only related to radiation doses,but also dependent on the number of cell passaaes after transformation. |
