| Abstract:: |
| The results of investigation of radon daughters-induced lung cancer in Uranium Ivline A of Hdnan Province are reported. The underground concentrations of 222Rn and radon daughters were higher than DAC in the first 2-3 years.From 1971 to 1985, of 2149 miners who started underground work before 1971, 11 died of lung cancer.The mortality of lung cancer was 35.14×10-5 and the attributable lung cancer rate was 28.28×10-5.The average time period from the start of exposure to death due to lung cancer was 18.5 years.The excess risk rate was 5.58×10-6 WLM-1 a-1 and the relative increment frequency was 5.03×10-2 WLM-1 a-1.The results of epidemiological study indicated that the incidence of lung cancer was increasing along with the increase in cumulative exposure to radon daughters. |
