| Shielding 9-15% of the bone marrow in Y.Irradiated rabbits increased the level of blood leucocytes of irradiated animals, prorooted the recovery of irradiated bone marrow and raised the survival rate.Decreasing the amount of shielded bone mlLTrow to 2%, the effects Were still notable. The protective effeet of shlelded bone marrow was manifest mainly within the early period after irradiation.Three days after the initial irradiation, destroying the shielded bone marrow by irradiation for the second time could not affect the survival rate. |
