Abstract:: |
Thymus is an important organ of the immune system and is involved in the regulation of blood cen formation.Thymtm translantation can reconstitute the immune system to a certain extent in immunodcficieneies.The results of our primary cxperiment showed that thymus transplantation could increase the survival rate of lethally irrad-mted mice.The survival rate in the group with thymus transplanted in abdominal wall was higher than that in the group with the organ transplanted in peritoneum.In the recovery period, the labelling index of bone marrow fells in the former group was significantly higher than that in the controls. After 3 months of transplantation。No signifcant immunologic rejotion was observed histologically either in the mice with syngeneic thymic graft or in the mice with homogtaft. |
