Abstract::
      The radioprotective action of 1,1,2-Triphenylelhylene(TPE.a non-steroid hormone)on whole-body gamma-irradiated mice has been studied.8y giving TPE(4mg/kg body weight)orally to mice 10 days before an exposure of 900 R the percentage of survivors and survival time of TPE-protected mice were increased as compared with controls.The number of survivofs was 47/80 and 23/89 in TPE-protected and nonprotected mice respectively.
